Audio Describer: Close captions appear. Music: Geometry of Circles by Philip Glass.

An overhead view of a white surface with seventeen cubes the size of sugar cubes. The cubes are loosely assembled against the white background. Two large hands appear from the top. They separate and rearrange the cubes. They are hand painted, half bright red, half white. Two sides are completely white, and two sides are completely red. The last two sides split diagonally into a white triangle and a red triangle. A smaller hand appears from the bottom, cupping the cubes, and indicating a work area boundary by setting palms facing each other ten centimeters out on either side. The larger heads mimic this, then relax slightly. The large hands appear to make a pencil mark at center and then erase it with the pencil’s eraser. The small hands rub the eraser on the bottom right, brushing away the rub. The large hands nudge the cubes, then pull away. The small hands draw three vertical dashes on top of one another then lay the pencil beside them. The small hands pick up the pencil making three new identical marks further left and erasing the first set. The large hands work to reorder the cubes as if attempting a colour pattern. (music continues playing).

Five cubes are grouped together. (music continues playing).

A square of nine cubes is formed, with a red cube at center. The large hands stretch and wiggle their fingers, then round up the remaining cubes and hold them on the top left. A hand hovers over them, the other hand lightly touches the other cubes in the square, pulling them to center. Then repositioning so that a diagonal line pattern starts to form.

The hands stay still at the perimeter of the square. The large hands move the square further down and some cubes change position. A cube is singled out and pulled to the left. The extra cubes are pulled from the top left to the top right. A new square of cubes at center with the diagonal separation between white and red of some of the cubes is matched up with others. Close caption (music ends). The hands pull away.

End credits. Thank you to Michelle Peek, Liz Jackson, Patty Douglas, Ray, Susan and Wendy.
